We offer a wide range of therapy services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy. Our therapists specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues.

We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, which is why we offer flexible scheduling options and accept most insurance plans. We also offer tele-therapy sessions for clients who prefer the convenience of online therapy.

You understand we do NOT do consultations, your meeting with your therapist will be your intake appointment. If you feel like your therapist is not a good fit after that appointment we will be happy to match you with another therapist at Gabby Cares of South Florida or provide referrals to an outside provider.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our team of experienced therapists is here to provide answers and support. Here are some frequently asked questions to help you understand our services and how we can help you on your journey to mental well-being.

  1. How much are therapy sessions?
    Private pay ranges from $65-150. In person session rates start at $200 per hour. Please review the bio of your desired therapist for accurate pricing.

  2. Can I call to schedule an appointment or if I have questions?
    Gabby Cares is 100% virtual which means we handle all questions and scheduling via email. When in office, our therapists are with clients and may not be able to answer the phone. However, once you get started with your therapist, you will have his or her direct contact number. 
    ​

  3. Do you accept insurance? 
    Yes. We accept BCBS FL, United Healthcare, Optum, Florida Medicaid, Cigna, Oxford Health Plans and Aetna. Due to the uncertainty of insurance, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ensure we are in your network and to get information on any deductible and/or co-pay. Please complete a new client request so we can check your benefits.

  4. Do you offer couples therapy? 
    Yes we offer couples, relationship and business partner support services.
    ​

  5. Do you offer therapy services for minors?
    Yes. Ages 0+. Please review our therapist bios to see who offers counseling to minors.
    ​

  6. Are sessions virtual or in person? 
    All sessions are virtual at this time. In person sessions can be schedule depending on your therapist and availability. 
    ​

  7. How long are the sessions?
    All sessions are typically 50 minutes to 1 hour.​​

     

  8. Do you have any weekend availability? 
    Yes; however, weekend availability is limited depending on your therapist and availability. ​

  9. Do therapists at Gabby Cares only serve individuals from BIPOC communities?
    No. We serve people from all backgrounds; however, we specialize in working with individuals from BIPOC communities. 
    ​

  10. What if I'm running late to my session?
    We understand that life happens, and we all have busy schedules. Clients are allowed a 10 minute grace period to make it to their session. Please communicate with your therapist should you be late to your appointment. Log into the client portal to reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment.

     

  11. What is your cancellation policy? 
    You are responsible for canceling your scheduled appointments 24-48 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee. All late cancellations and no-shows will be charged full session price. Please be advised, even if you have insurance, this fee will be your responsibility. We implement this policy because missing your appointment hurts three people: you, your therapist, and other clients who needed services.

     

  12. Are you LGBTQ friendly? 
    Yes. All therapists have experience serving diverse populations.

     

  13. I’m ready to book! How do I schedule my first appointment? 
    We are eager to connect with you! To be brought on as a client, you must be able to attend sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Therapy has been proven to be the most effective when incorporated into your lifestyle regularly. If you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, click here.
