Nuturing Parenting
Group
Groups will be held every Saturday and Sunday.
Limited registrants accepted.
Relationship support groups follow the evidence-based Nurturing Parenting Program. At Gabby Cares, we provide Teen Groups, Young Parents and their Families, New Parental Support, and Developing Nurturing Skills groups. The Nurturing Parenting Programs are a trauma-informed family-centered initiative that aims to develop nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglectful parenting and child-rearing practices.
Long-term goals include preventing reoffending in families receiving social services, lowering the rate of multi-parent teenage pregnancies, lowering the rate of juvenile delinquency and alcohol abuse, and breaking the intergenerational cycle of child abuse through teaching positive parenting behaviors.
Weekly Saturday's you can meet with me online to discuss more nurturing parenting techniques.
